The Heat Reflective Faceshield is very efficient in reflecting away UV Rays and radiant (IR) heat. The large lightweight shield protects the face and front of neck while providing the wearer with an unrestricted field of vision. The faceshield is coated with a mirror surface of pure 24K Gold to reflect the radiant heat away from the user's face. It has the unique Silicote TM-1 Scratch Resistant coating. This thermoset abrasion resistant coating protects the reflective gold layer from daily wear and extends the life of the product. The Basic shield size is 8" x 14" and .080" thick. Meets ANSI Z87.1-1989 standards.
